We got one of these systems and i find them enjoyable to play, although, most of the games are mindless, such as boxing and baseball. You don't really need to do much but swing. Yes, you have to move but the games themselves are just mindless events that happen. No real skill nor point to the games. Just swing away. I do like the fact that you have to get up off our chair if you want to really play the game the way it's suppossed to be played. So that's a good thing about the system. For what you get in the system, i found it to be overpriced. You only get one controller and these games are more fun with a group playing. so you have to shell out the extra cash for 3 more controllers and other devices for other varies games... Graphics are not as hi quality as the Playstation or Xbox but it's watchable and enjoyable. Sometimes the controls don't react as quick as the person controlling it, example, boxing... It can't keep up with the jabs and punches sometimes... Some of the sports are fun but also can be mindless and become boring. The games are good for all ages.
Pros: Interactive games, for all ages
Cons: Overpriced

My husband & I bought this as soon as it was released & have already gotten rid of it. We got rid of our game cube to buy it & totally regret it.

For games like the new Smash Brothers & Mario Cart - the whole appeal was getting online with your friends & its soo difficult to know anyone you know is online. They have to be playing the game & you have to work together to get a game set up. On XBox - you can easliy see whos on, send messages & send invites to havea friend join you. With the Wii, you have to pic up your phone! The games haven't improved at all either. The graphics are uninspiring & the controls are obnoxious.

For more interactive games, we definately did have fun with guests over & its nice to get a work out from it... but it shows no value or draw over any other game system. Get a PS3 or XBox 360 instead. At least you can watch movies & connect the anything with those.
Pros: Multiple players, good for young kids
Cons: horrible internet set-up

there are no fun games they make every game for the wii for toddelers you can never connect to the inernet the graphics are like a 3 year old drew them. Even madden 09 is played with bobble heads instead of real people. There is basiclly no memory so you can't buy a lot of games because you will not be able to save your progress.
Pros: n64 games on it
Cons: no fun games bad graphics bad internet connecion

The Wii has some great moments and titles. It also has so many garbage titles that I suggest you rent everything not made by Nintendo. At least use a good review source. This is not a hardcore gamer console but even hardcores will find some of the titles fun and engaging. The newness does wear off and I've found that the system doesn't have to many games that keep you playing for a lot of days like online titles for the 360 and PS3. But new, non, and casual gamers will probably not be interested in online anyway. My son (10) does enjoy it a lot but usually plays more on his 360. The active controls do lend to a better play for kids and adults as you are not sitting idle on a couch. Overall a fun system that is probably one any type of gamer can find something they like. But if your looking for the most hardcore system the 360 or PS3 is the way to go.
Pros: Inovative Contols, Active play
Cons: lots of horrible games, Gimmicky

I bought this for myself (I'm 26) and my 5 year old son and this is PERFECT! I love it. We have so much fun with and it's a great video game system for him. When I was a kid, I had a Nintendo but the Wii is perfect for him. I love it too and it's the best $250 I've ever spent....
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing!

I love my wii. I have had it for about a week and a half. I have a bunch of games and the wii fit. It's so much fun. It's fun to play games with others, or single player games like galaxy or wario land. I am a girl who gets tired of games, and I don't really care for all those games that serious gamers play. I love mario and playing the games that make you get off your butt. So if your like me, this is the perfect thing for you. My boyfriend plays it, but he prefers the PS3.This is a fun for the whole family kind of game, and you will get your moneys worth. It's real fun.
Pros: games, use of remotes
Cons: not enough games for hardcore gamers

The Nintendo Wii is the best gaming experience you will ever have. The wireless controllers are easy to use, the console is the perfect size to fit into any tiny little space you need it to, the SD cards make the game files easy to share over the computer...there are so many more things I could say about why I love the Wii by Nintendo. I would have to say my favorite thing about the Wii system is the virtual console and wii-ware. These two features are very similar and are accessed in the same way. Go to the Wii Shop Channel(if you have a Wi-Fi connection) and choose either Virtual Console(old classic games. e.g. Super Mario Bros) or Wii-Ware(new games designed for the Wii. e.g. Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People). This is probably the main reason I love the Wii so much
Pros: virtual console/wii-ware, wireless controllers, interactive/motion sensitive controllers, wide range of controllers, small size, SD card compatability, backwards compatability, internal hard drive
Cons: graphics are a little lacking

While the Nintendo Wii is an attractive, easy to set up and play console, its Graphics are comparable to that of the original PlayStation, and it seems that the games are all a bit repetitive, and never easy to play on the days you are sick and not ready to be jumping around, swinging your controller. Nor are the majority of its games fun to play on the days you cant have a group of friends over to enjoy with you. With the graphics so poor, and the games lacking plot, is the Wii really worth the $300 ?
Pros: Its small, it is easy to set up and play
Cons: The Graphics are similar to the GB advance
