HP did it right. Built an affordable printer that uses common ink cartriges and common photo paper. Other mfg's use special ink that comes with special paper. This printer can be powered by house current, or an optional car adapter, or an optional rechargeable internal battery. The only drawbacks.... it doesn't come with the printer and is fairly expensive. about $80us. And the discharge for the finished photos needs to be watched to keep your pictures from falling on the ground. Other than that, I can't say enough good things. It is small enought to fit in a standard suitcase and travels well. Never again do I need to promise copies through the mail... I print them as I take them.
