This little unit is VERY NICE. It (as you would expect) works seamlessly with Windows Media Player, and for the money gives you quite a few features.

(Suggestion: Go for WMAs in lieu of MP3s to store more songs and stretch your capacity.)

It plays videos AND you can buy a memory card to expand capacity beyond 2GB. A VERY NICE and welcome feature.

I bought my wife's at Best Buy for $149.99 and she loves it. We listened to it yesterday on a long trip and were quite satisfied.

From what I understand, its interface is just like the iPod Nano's, so you should be familiar with it.

I would highly recommend this unit.
Pros: Expandable, plays videos, nice familiar design, good value for money
Cons: Strange video conversion software

I got the Sansa e250 MP3 player for Christmas and overall I am extremely satisfied with this device. Only because I picked out the gift, do I know that this is an excellent value for the price. Not only do I get 500 song capacity, I also get an integrated FM Radio and the ability to also upload video and pictures to tihs device. The screen is full color and is very nicely lit.

The best feature of this MP3 player that I've experienced is the after-purchase service that I received from SanDisk. I developed a problem uploading MP3's to my player three days after christmas and called the manufacturer's customer service number to get some assistance. I was greeted by one of the most pleasant people I've ever encountered on the phone. I was pleasantly suprised to know that she owned the same model MP3 player that I did. After walking me through the fix, she gave me advice on how to avoide the problem in the future.
Pros: Lightweight, 500 song capacity, video, picture, recording capability
Cons: Volume control is slightly annoying

I recently purchased this Sansa player after looking at options for a few months. I had originally thought I'd by an I-Pod but the restrictions scared me away.

What sold me on this unit was the versitility and wide range of extras you got here. The interface is easy on the eyes and easy to figure out while not being overstated. The FM Radio and Rhapsody Channels are great additions, as are the video and voice recorder. My favorite feature is that you can add additional memory using micro-SD sticks. Though Rhapsody is used for music sorting its not required to upload files to the MP3 player you can drag and drop MP3 or WMA files right onto the player (rhapsody cheannels do require rhapsody however).

The only drawbacks are that it takes awhile for the channels to update and that the glossy front face attracts finger prints. Finally, this player is $50 bucks cheaper than I-Pod Nano, a steal considered all the extras you get!
Pros: More Features than I-Pod, Durable, and nice looking.
Cons: Rhapsody Channels are slow to update

I really enjoy using my e250. I use Yahoo Music to Go which is a great service and works well with the MP3. Only gripe is that if the MP3 is near its limit, I cannot sync to the service and have to delete and reload; but this is a minor inconvenience for the value. I jettisoned the poor quality ear buds that came with the e250 and am using Sennheiser PX100 earphones; the sound and quality are great!
Pros: Looks, ease of use, quality and design.
Cons: Small buttons and display.

It is the first mp3 player i have and it's the best. Not better than an ipod hehe...But its worth every penny. One day i hooked up the sandisk to my computer it wouldn't let me access my music. I couldn't delete them but only add them. =[ I looked all over the internet for answers...I had to return it to best buy. Becareful not to damage it cause there is no way to fix it.
Pros: Can scroll through music, Bright Screen, Radio,Records,Video Clips, and good sound
Cons: Freezes,Scroll wheel will take time to get use to,

Overall the Sansa e250 is probably better than ipods and every other MP3 player on the market. If you need a dependable and durable MP3 player but you don't have tons of extra cash on hand the e250 is for you. Once you get started its simple to use and its much easier to use than itunes. You can go to anyones computer with Windows Media and put songs on your e250. Now you don't need to go and buy a portable DVD player, all you need to do is burn a movie to the Sansa and watch it on there. Overall it's awesome and I would recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Awesome value for your money and lots of cool features
Cons: If you have no clue with computers it will be a little challenging to get started

Cons: cant erase original songs it came with

I've had this unit for a few weeks now, and the battery life is great, the functunality has been perfect, and overall it's just been a great little device. The size is great for taking it along to the gym, and the Micro Card slot opens up a whole new realm of use. Cnet didn't like the controls, but they seem fine to me. Audio quality if great, and video playback is smooth as can be. With the FM radio and recorder, it out-features the Nano.
Pros: Expandable! Plus all the right features.
Cons: None so far

this mp3 player is really cool. i mean i can watch videos on the thing the screen isn't that small but its not so big, just right enough and large enough to see the graphics and words. you can also look at photos on the sansa plus you can view them in a slideshow. i can put mad amounts of music on this too so ican can listen to my fave songs whenever i want and nevr get tired because i have so many songs to listen to. if i ever get tired of listening to music, i can always turn on the radio and listn to my stations like hot 97 or z100, power105 or kissfm. this mp3 player is also compact too so it can fit in places and its durable too. a really great mp3 player.
Pros: FM Radio, Video, Photos, Music, Recorder
Cons: Slow Restarting. takes long to get to main menu

I wanted a cheap MP3 player to go to the gym. For $100 I got so much more than a cheap MP3 player! This peice of electronics is high quality. The clarity of the screen is amazing, it absolutely puts the screen the Ipod to shame. I found the player easy to navigate. I had loaded songs onto it within minutes of turning the unit on. I absolutely recommend this product.
Pros: Many.
Cons: Not a lot of accessories yet.

I got this for my birthday about two of months ago, and its been awesome. Its easy to use and comes with its own file converting software for pictures and videos and works with windows media player for music files. Its got a full color screen thats bigger than the nanos and it views photos and plays video. Its a sturdy little player too. I've dropped from about 3 feet onto my kitchen tile and it didnt break. Also, it has a surprising battery life.
Just a couple of complaints though. The play/pause skip and stop buttons are hard to push without long nails, and the clickwheel that controls volume is easy to move without meaning to when its in your pocket. Last bad thing is that the micro sd cards for expanding the memory cost almost as much as the player itself.
Other than those small complaints, this is a great mp3 and I recomend it more than the i pod nano.
Pros: Comes with easy to use syncing software for pics and videos, works with windows media player for music, expandable micro sd slot
Cons: small buttons require "nail typing", volume wheel gets turned in pocket

1)The screen is adjustable bright and the layout is logical.2) Support has good video's showing me how to to everything you need to do.3) infinitly expandable by inserting a 2 GB SD Micro card.

The software is also nice to download on your computer. It is easy to download, burn, or transfer your CD's. The MP3 also comes with music, videos, and pictures.
Pros: It is small, so it fits in your hand. Fun features, nice stuff
Cons: you have to plug it into your computer to charge it

I have been using the sansa player, for arround 4 months, and it´s great. It is compatible with windows media player, rhapsody and real player. It has more options of compatibility than an Ipod; also, the durability is great! Around 20 hrs of music.
One of the extras, is that u can record the fm station what u want; your favorite pics can go with u. It´s an amazing product!
Pros: It´s amazing what u can do with it
Cons: if u record an entire fm program, the battery lasts less

I was on tech support with e-mails to get the unit to work correctly. It doesn't work with media player 11 and I had to reformat the unit several times. I have to pull the battery out once a day because it locks up and there is no reset switch. I have 2 other friends who have the sansa and they both took them back and got and ipod, which I'm going to do. Stick with the the ipods for ease of use. And I'm quite tech saavy.
Pros: Look, plays videos
Cons: Hard to use with media player, won't work with Itunes
