Though it won't replace your digital camcorder or camera, the powerful Nokia N93 does a respectable job of integrating quality multimedia capabilities into a cell phone. That said, it's a bulky handset and is best suited for convergence fanatics and gadget hounds.

Pros: The Nokia N93 is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera with video-recording capabilities, and it features a cool, swivel design. This Symbian smart phone includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a music player and FM radio, and e-mail capabilities.

Cons: The Nokia N93 is clunky and heavy, making it awkward to use as a phone. Call quality was mixed in our tests, and the external display is small.

The Nokia N93 is he coolest gadget I have ever owned. That may be because it possesses something of every gadget I have ever owned. You can get online as with a PC, take photos or videos as with a camera, play music as with an MP3 player--well, you get the idea.

Is it a phone with multiple cameras or is it a collection of cameras which include a phone feature? You decide.

The 128 MB MiniSD memory card that comes with the N93 just won't do, so plan on getting, additionally, the largest memory card you can ( I got a 2 gigabyte card).

My favorite software feature on the phone is the Lifeblog which gathers up your messages, still shots and video and streams them into a timeline of your life. Cool stuff. And it can all be shared with your PC.

Finally, and most impressively, the design of the device is High Art. Solid and polished in black or metallic silver, it is the most compact, multifaceted device with moving segments that I have ever seen. As often happens, it's the little things that are a nuisance--count on losing the tiny lenscap, and the port covers within days of your purchase. Otherwise plan on enjoying your Nokia N93 and to see it, feel it, and live it.

Cons: A little bulky for the pocket.

As noted, this phone is loaded, almost overwhelmingly so, and is arguably the most feature-laden phone on the market. The 3.2 MP camera uses Carl Zeiss optics rather than the normal cheap plastic lenses usually found on cell cams, and there's a tiny lens cap that you should tie the included cord to immediately. The camcorder encodes in RealVideo VGA 640 x 480 at 30 fps, but can play back MPEG-4 H.264 AVC
