I just got this tv a few days ago and I dont have any negative comments about it. Its an excellent LCD HDTV. I been watching some blue rays title in it using my PS3 set at 1080P, and the Image is just amazing. I love it.

I looked at this and the Sony Bravia side by side in the store and this was the best picture by far. Plus the Sony was only 46 inches and the Sharp was 52. This is America baby bigger is better. The Sharp is kind of like a BMW, it's the ultimate driving machine. The Sharp is the ultimate viewing machine. I don't like the delay when it's configuring the best pic possible.

Do not buy this television. The banding issue that you are reading about in other reviews is for real. Stay away from Sharp LCD TV's. At least their bigger models. We bought the 52 incher for the 1080P HD, but the banding is just awful. I should have listened to my instict before making such a purchase. It will be going back to Best Buy shortly. I'm hoping my review saves some frustration for others. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

after getting it down to the sharp 52 inch or the sony xbr 46 inch i chose the sharp.with the sharp haven't seen the banding.with the sony the clouding problem is on every tv. someone told me my tv had the banding problem and even pointed it out.and it was hardly noticeable.and the person had to wait until there was a break when the screen was black, then pointed it out.it seems people are fishing to find something wrong.

I purchased this set after much review of samsungs and other brands. I am very pleased with picture quality and ease of set up. I am also watching dvds in 1080i and playing my x box 360 in 1080P. I got mine for $3,030, for this quailty LCD thats a very good price. I have found no signs of banding like some other people are saying. Its a keeper
