I purchased the unit in May of 08 and it was advertised as having a large rebate for the price I paid. When I attempted to apply for rebates for HP Laptop and HP Printer HP made one excuse after another and refused to honor their rebate offer.

Pros: graphics are acceptable
Cons: Rebates a Scam
HP support needs a lot of help!

When it comes to this laptop it has good qualities small, powerful, great for travels. You can add a second battery and you will be fine. Extra memory and a larger hard drive will good but for the price you can not go wrong. It is a good laptop except for the technical support. I send this machine for the same reason I turn on the laptop the lights goes up but the display still black and in all the occations they have say the same think "we have replace the MLB it should work perfect". Well HP I think this christmas I am not getting another HP. HP thanks for NOTHING!

Pros: The HP Pavilion DV2210us it was a good laptop for 8 month.
Cons: Once it got damage HP Award Winnig Technical Support could not fix it two time came from service and three time went back to repair and yes I still waiting for the machine.
