With all it`s properties, compared to the others, it stands out as a superior and yet cheapest laptop for now.
Many of my friends ended up buying this brand.
In fact, i recomend that all Humankind should buy Two and give one to a friend.

I bought this for $549 after all MIR from Microcenter a month ago. Stylish design, good quality especially for entertainment watching DVD movies and listening to music.
I installed the XP and had trouble finding the WEB CAM driver and the HP Tech support was very helpful pointing me to the right direction even though she kept saying downgrading from Vista to XP was not advised by HP. The screen looks nice but sometimes may have reflection if you have bright light in your background. The battery seems to last about 2+ hours if you just browsing the WEB and read emails. There is a remote control in Express card format, comes with the machine but can only work in Vista mode for entertainment such as DVD playback or music playback. I wish HP can have a driver for XP as well.
I tend to avoid the any models with AMD processor which may have heat problem. Even though AMD said it can run in 64-bit mode but most of the Notebook I saw ran in 32-bit mode. Besides there may be may programs that still run in 32-bit mode. Finding device drivers in 64-bit mode may be a problem as well.
I have compared this with other brands and I like this HP design. Good job HP.
