I've looked and compared with most other phones. I originally wanted to get the IPhone, but the N95 8GB is a much, much better device.
The stereo speakers are awesome, loud & clear. GPS works even for Europe.
Great wireless connectivity, amazing camera. Both pictures & movies are amazing - best you can get on any cell phone.
Lots of software available through the symbian platform.
I had it for 2 months and still love to play with it & discover new things that it can do.
I fully recommended it!!!

Cons: has it all - best camera, speakers, GPS

This phone simply blows every other away... It's the best phone yet, and I'm sure it'll remain among the greatest for a LONG time... As I said, only N96 can beat it...

I purchased the original N95 and used it for almost 2 years. I am a tech junkie so as soon as the newer and more memory version came out I was dying to have it, although I couldn't justify the expenditure. My generous husband offered to take my old one (he is less focused on the bells and whistles and more on just the receiving and sending of calls) and then I could buy the new one. YAY. I am thrilled of course and no matter how much music I load, or pictures I take - it makes me ecstatic to never have to see "memory card full". Nokia has long been a favorite of mine, and it's ease of use and intuitive menus ensure you open the box and are enjoying your device within hours not days or weeks.

Only one recommendation and this isn't a "con" per se. That is, turn off your bluetooth when you are not using it. If you do not, you will see a significant difference in battery life.

Pros: Great sound, awesome features, reliable bluetooth AND infrared, GPS, great camera pics, incomparable in every way

Cons: Price - but who doesn't want something for less :)

i hav been using this for the past 8 months... it is excellent GPS works very good, has excellent storage space, u can copy movies in it and take it any where, practically an 8gb storage disk with u all the time, camera and video is excellent,
if u are lookin for something which is not pocket pc and has it all this is the phone to buy...opens all office documents, presentations, pdf, u name it and this phone has it.. a must buy i would say...

This phone is the future. Not only is this an exceptional phone - better quality and reception than I have experienced with either Motorola or Samsung products, it is a great camera/camcorder and mini PC. I purchased an Apple Wireless keyboard (Bluetooth) to use with this and connect it to my 42" LCD TV. On the road, I find many hotel TVs will function as a monitor. GPS is intermittent for me. Phone is a true world phone- I have used this flawlessly in Europe and Singapore.

Pros: Quality, Features, Ease of Use, Scope of Uses

Cons: Slider is awkward

I liked...ALMOST everything - I am a heavy text user and send out group messages, reply to a lot and change my Profile several times a day...

Would have been nice to have more features on the text messaging (reply with original text, for instance).

The large font is still very SMALL as compared to all the other Nokia sizes on other phones - should have more choices for size of text we want to read, see when creating messages...

All "end" (alarm, text, etc.) instructions should be on the same side. FOr instance, the Alarm Off button is on the left, instead of the right, so you end up pressing snooze until your mind is trained to do otherwise...

Calendar should be very accessible, not so many menus to run through?

Overall, great - but pay attention to the Text Messaging menu too...we live in Asia, where this is a KEY ingredient.

Pros: All the techno features you might need

Cons: Not set up for heavy text users

I researched and researched this phone and decided to set out to purchase it off the web. This phone has everything to offere and everything I was looking for in my new phone. With that said, I was able to purchase it from http://www.jabcellular.com which I was SO HAPPY WITH!!! Nokia N95 and JAB Cellular gets a A+++

Pros: Everything.. You name it, this phone has it!

Cons: None that I can think of.

Its perfect! I love it, the keypad, the speaker, the accessories, the shape, etc. Only capacity is the advantage of N96 but u dont need too big capacity cos u can transfer pics to ur pc, and u can change ur musics if u dont like them anymore, longer battery life is advantage, but the features is d same. I like the keypad better than N97, u dont need to have like N97 keypad cos its just a handyphone! Thats the idea. Price is reasonable cos it has GPS. its GREAT! Try it!

one of the greatest product from NOKIA!
really powerful lots of functions, great camera, great GPS, sound rocks too, gaming is great and lots more!
I always was happy with nokia all the phones I had were great. next great phone from nokia is N97!
