Great idea on this maker but it needs help. It always looks dirty. (the plastic stains easily) This maker is plastic and after a few months it starts to leak, and there's no stopping it. Mine didn't last 6 months. My sister-in-law had the same problems.

I had an original...and the problem with leaking has been fixed. This one has a programmable timer to allow you to perk a fresh pot each morning. You can vary from iced coffee, to decaf, to a smaller quantity. Just an overall EXCELLENT perfect machine!

This was our second Hamilton-Beach BrewStation, a coffeemaker we selected due to its unique design, i.e., no carafe.
However, I would not recommend. Our first one lasted about 18 months, this latest/second one only 12 months. The first failure after 18 months could have been attributed to a "lemon", but two in a row with such a short lifecycle??? No way.

Great little coffeemaker-This is the second one I've had. Nothing wrong with the first one-just wanted the new style with the longer cup space. Recycled the first one to a friend-who also likes it.

I received this coffee maker as a wedding gift in October. I have owned many coffee makers before and none can compare to this wonderful product. I drink at least 5 cups a day. It is easy to clean, when you use bottled water you really have no worry about the hard water make it hard to clean. I have learned this over the years. If you clean it regularly with white vinger it helps clean out any hard water and minerals that are left behind. Maintaining your coffee maker will last longer.

You people are just whiners and complainers. I have owned many coffee makes in my lifetime, this one is by far the very best! I have owned two of these, never leaked, never burned coffee, keeps coffee perfect for four hours. Krups, Cuisanart, Gevalli, Mister Coffee, Braun coffee makers move aside, the Brewmaster is the BEST !!!! Get over yourself, you coffee experts ... I suppose you all think that Starbucks makes the best coffee beans also! Bunch of "yuppie" whiner experts!

I will not buy this brand again. The features are great, but what's the point if it doesn't last? Like the original, this updated model leaks out the bottom after awhile. We have to have 2 paper towels under it to protect the counter each time. And, it's more expensive than other models that probably last longer. I'm looking today to buy another brand....Hope Hamilton Beach can fix these leaking problems.

Pros: like the push-button dispenser, timer, coffee tastes good
Cons: after awhile, began leaking out the bottom, also messy to pour in...spout leaks

Received this coffeemaker as a gift over 2 years ago! Have enjoyed it ever since. If you follow the cleaning instructions printed on the back of the carafe you will never have a problem. I use filtered water from my refrigerator to make the coffee so that I don't have the chlorine taste when used straight from the tap. I also clean it with white vinegar every couple of months. My coffeemaker has never leaked and continues to work perfectly. If it ever does have a problem, you can bet I want another one!
